The Tushita Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Cape Town is part of an international spiritual community of over 1200 Centres worldwide. It has arisen from the pure intention and vision of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
Everyone is welcome to visit this peaceful and blessed environment. Visitors from all backgrounds come to find refuge from the difficulties of busy, modern life and draw inspiration from spiritual friends, including western Buddhist monks and nuns.
The Centre is home to a wide community of people from all walks of life. Dharma (Buddha’s teachings) are for everyone, regardless of creed, race, or gender. The study and practice of Dharma brings us together and helps us to enjoy a truly meaningful life
The Centre also offers meditation classes at many different locations in and around Cape Town.
