Buddhism is the practice of Buddha’s teachings, also known as Dharma, which means “protection.” Suffering is a state of mind, and Buddha’s teachings explain how to overcome states of mind that cause suffering. Through receiving Buddha’s blessings and the help and support of Sangha, our pure spiritual friends, we will have all the support we need to progress in our practice of Dharma. In this way, the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are our real refuge from suffering and problems. Without them, we are exposed to the pain of negative states of mind and daily problems.

Three sessions of guided meditation with explanation will be offered. Join us and begin or deepen your practice of Refuge. It is not essential to attend every session – no booking required.

Session times:
10.00-11.15am; 12.00pm-1.15pm; 2.15-3.30pm

Refreshments are provided after the first session – please bring your own lunch.
