About this event

The South African Dharma Celebration is a wonderful event that takes place once a year, and offers an opportunity for South Africans from all walks of life to come together to receive empowerment, listen to teachings and practice meditation. This year we will receive the empowerment of Buddha Manjushri, the Wisdom Buddha. If we wish to solve our own problems and the problems at large we definitely need wisdom. If we rely upon the wisdom of enlightened beings we can easily bring an end to all suffering.

The empowerment is a special ceremony though which we will receive powerful blessings from Manjushri, which will make our spiritual practices more powerful and especially all our practices related to Manjushri. As a result our wisdom will quickly increase and we shall be able to solve our problems on the deepest level.

The empowerment will be followed by a commentary to the practice of Manjushri, called Treasury of Wisdom, and on Sunday there will be an opportunity to be inspired by hearing about the special connection between Je Tsongkhapa, Dorje Shugden and Buddha Manjushri.

Everyone is very welcome!
