In this series of meditation classes we explore the relationship between meditation, our mental attitude, the actions we perform and the results we experience. Through meditation we can change our mind from negative to positive, and become more loving, more patient, more giving. Through this the quality of our actions will improve and we will be less harmful and more helpful towards others. As a result we receive more help from others and experience more harmony, inner peace and happiness in our lives. Since all this begins by changing our mind, we can understand how important meditation is.

Gen Kelsang Namkhyen
Gen Kelsang Namkyhen is the Resident Teacher of Tushita Kadampa Meditation Centre.
He ordained as a Buddhist monk in 1999 and taught extensively in the UK and The Netherlands before coming to South Africa in 2020.
