In this Buddhist Meditation Class we acknowledge that we all want to be happy but this may be difficult to achieve in the business of our daily life. What we need are simple practices that everyone can do to keep our mind peaceful and happy, even in challenging situations. In this series of meditation classes we focus on a well-loved text from the Buddhist tradition, called ‘Advice from Atisha’s Heart’, which is full of practical tips on how to develop and maintain a pure and happy mind.
In each class Gen Namkhyen will guide two meditations and explain a few verses from Advice from Atisha’s Heart, focusing on how we can use these verses to give meaning to our daily experiences and see them as opportunities for personal development and spiritual growth.
