Description

Although Buddhism is an ancient religion that first appeared in the East, the practices taught by Buddha are timeless and universally applicable. These days, many people are discovering that Buddhism has answers to questions and solutions to problems that cannot be found anywhere else.

Should you be interested in learning more about Buddhism, please join us for this free introductory course and meditation sessions, which are offered on Fridays at 12:30.

Meditation Class Format

GUIDED MEDITATION

Each class begins with guided breathing meditation to help let go of distractions and settle the mind into an experience of inner peace.

BUDDHIST TEACHING

The teacher will then give practical advice, based on the topic of the class, explaining how we can integrate Buddha's timeless wisdom into our busy daily lives.

DISCUSSION

The class will conclude with a second guided meditation to help us take the teaching to heart. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
