January 18, 2025 - January 19, 2025
Start Time: 10:00 am
R100 – R650
On this retreat, that is traditionally done at the beginning of a new year for auspiciousness, we will engage in the meditation practice of Buddha Amitayus, the Buddha of Long Life. This beautiful practice helps us to increase our lifespan, wisdom, and good fortune.
Each session includes chanted prayers, meditations and silent mantra recitation. Long-life pills that have been blessed throughout the retreat will be distributed after the last session on the second day.
A wonderful start of the new year!
The retreat is held at Tushita KMC and everyone is welcome. You can join as many sessions as you wish.

A Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Retreat offers profound opportunities for inner transformation and spiritual growth. During these retreats we immerse our self in a tranquil environment away from the distractions of daily life. This allows for a deepening of our meditation practice.
Through guidance and teachings we cultivate mindfulness, compassion and wisdom whilst nurturing a profound sense of inner peace.
The retreats provide a perfect space to explore the potential of our mind, promote clarity and an insight into the nature of reality.
By engaging in meditation sessions we can purify our minds, reduce stress, and develop a more profound connection with our true nature. This immersive experience empowers us to carry the transformative benefits of meditation into our daily lives promoting harmony, inner strength along with a deeper understanding of our self and our world.
